Important Security Notes

  • Never enable withdrawal permissions — Crypto Broker only needs trading access.
  • Restrict your API key to your IP address whenever possible for additional security.
  • Your API keys are stored locally on your device using OS-level encryption — they are never sent to our servers.
  • If you suspect your API key has been compromised, delete it immediately on the exchange.

How to Create a Bybit API Key

Steps

  1. 1Log in to your Bybit account.
  2. 2Go to Account & Security > API Management.
  3. 3Click "Create New Key" and select "System-Generated API Keys".
  4. 4Enter a name for the key (e.g., "Crypto Broker").
  5. 5Select "Read-Write" for API key permissions.
  6. 6Under "Unified Trading", enable Spot trading.
  7. 7Optionally set an IP restriction for security.
  8. 8Complete 2FA verification.
  9. 9Copy the API Key and Secret Key.
