Important Security Notes

  • Never enable withdrawal permissions — Crypto Broker only needs trading access.
  • Restrict your API key to your IP address whenever possible for additional security.
  • Your API keys are stored locally on your device using OS-level encryption — they are never sent to our servers.
  • If you suspect your API key has been compromised, delete it immediately on the exchange.

How to Create a HTX API Key

Steps

  1. 1Log in to your HTX (formerly Huobi) account.
  2. 2Navigate to API Management from your account settings.
  3. 3Click "Create API Key".
  4. 4Enter a note/label for the key (e.g., "Crypto Broker").
  5. 5Set permissions as listed below.
  6. 6Bind your IP address (optional but recommended).
  7. 7Complete the security verification (2FA + email).
  8. 8Copy the Access Key and Secret Key.
