Important Security Notes

  • Never enable withdrawal permissions — Crypto Broker only needs trading access.
  • Restrict your API key to your IP address whenever possible for additional security.
  • Your API keys are stored locally on your device using OS-level encryption — they are never sent to our servers.
  • If you suspect your API key has been compromised, delete it immediately on the exchange.

How to Create a Gemini API Key

Steps

  1. 1Log in to your Gemini account.
  2. 2Navigate to Account > Settings > API.
  3. 3Click "Create A New API Key".
  4. 4Under "API Key Settings", select the scope of your key.
  5. 5Choose "Primary" scope for full trading access.
  6. 6Set permissions as listed below.
  7. 7Complete the security verification.
  8. 8Copy the API Key and API Secret.
