Important Security Notes
- Never enable withdrawal permissions — Crypto Broker only needs trading access.
- Restrict your API key to your IP address whenever possible for additional security.
- Your API keys are stored locally on your device using OS-level encryption — they are never sent to our servers.
- If you suspect your API key has been compromised, delete it immediately on the exchange.
How to Create a OKX API Key

- 1Log in to your OKX account.
- 2Navigate to profile icon > API from the main menu.
- 3Click "Create API key" and select "For trading" purpose.
- 4Enter an API key name/label (e.g., "Crypto Broker").
- 5Create a Passphrase — this is required by OKX and acts as an extra secret.
- 6Set the permissions as listed below.
- 7Optionally bind your IP address.
- 8Complete the security verification (2FA + email/SMS).
- 9Copy the API Key, Secret Key, and remember your Passphrase.

Notes
- •OKX has different regional endpoints (Global, US, EU). Make sure to select the correct region in Crypto Broker settings.
- •The Passphrase is created by you and required for every API call.
- •API keys can be configured for "For trading" or "For linking" — choose "For trading".
